weird brush behaviour zb4 please help

yesterday I transferred to a new system (i7 win7x64 gtx580)
So today I start modeling with zbrush and the brushes behave very weird.

All backfaces are also adjusted by the brush size!? So using a large brush is destorting all the model.

I have never seen this before. Switching the depth mask button doesn’t help :(

did I miss something?

Go into Brush\Auto Masking and turn on Backface Mask, this should help.
