Weak LapTop VS ZBrush

Hello to everyone…I used to work in ZBrush but then I moved into USA (and I am originaly from Europe) and now I dont have my computer with me but I bought one Acer lap top but he is very weak. He is Intel Celeron 540, 1.86 GHz, 1.00 MB RAM, 32 bit, OS Vista…and I sculpted Batmans statue and its 12 million polys on 7th subd level and still look very bad. I made it of ZSpheres and I dont know is it because of low computer and graphic performances or is mine mistake. What do you think ?
Thanks

Well, with the amount of RAM that you have you’re going to be pretty limited in terms of how many polygons you can push. You can improve that performance by splitting the model into SubTools. Each SubTool can be divided independently, giving the model as a whole a higher polygon count than could be accomplished with a single SubTool. Also be sure to hide portions of the model (including the current SubTool) that you’re not currently working on. For example, if you’re working with the eyes, hide the rest of the head. This reduces the amount of data that ZBrush must track in real-time, improving performance.
