Waxer tools in Zbrush?? Traditional sculptors I need your help

Hi Everyone,

I’m setting up some brushes to simulate various ends/tips of a waxer. first one will be a sharpened spear or spoon. Do you have any starting suggestions for the brush type and the settings? Something that will drop let me build up like I’m dropping wax with the tip of the sharpened spoon/ spear tip.

Also, are there any smooth brushes that offer similar results as sandpaper. I need a brush that will retain the detail while smoothing the surface. Perhaps something with a threshold option…?

I assume you mean something like this.

I would start by experimenting with some of the default brushes to find one that is closest to what you’re after. Then using a combination of the brush modifier settings and alphas, you should be able to get the effect you’re after.

For sand paper, us the smooth brush and dial the intensity way down to like 5-15.

yes, that’s exactly what I’m look for. Thank you for your help. I understand that and will work on it. I wanted to know if someone else had already created some tools for download that are close to that.
