Watchman — Digital Sculpture
I conceived Watchman as a silent sentinel of decay, a being suspended between mortal remembrance and primordial nightmare, where flesh yields inexorably to the architecture of death.
Through exaggerated cranial mass, cavernous ocular recesses, and the grotesque bifurcation of the jaw, I sought to explore the uneasy coexistence of vigilance and corruption, transforming anatomy into a vessel of psychological disquiet.
My sculptural practice often gravitates towards the liminal threshold between the human and the monstrous; the intricate surface erosion, compressed forms, and funereal textures reflect my fascination with impermanence, existential dread, and the subconscious theatre of fear.
In Watchman, I was less concerned with creating a creature than with manifesting a state of mind .an eternal observer whose fractured visage embodies the burden of memory, isolation, and the relentless passage of time.
