**** Waiting for Your Upgrade to Z2? ****

We know that many of you are eager to get your free upgrade to ZBrush 2, and we’re working to process all requests as quickly as possible.

For us to verify your submitted data, it’s important that the data be accurate. For fastest processing, any two of the following criteria are acceptable:

:small_orange_diamond: Your current e-mail address matches the one you provided when you last purchased, or received an upgrade for ZBrush.

:small_orange_diamond: Your name matches the one you provided when you last purchased, or received an upgrade.

:small_orange_diamond: You have provided the correct Digital River or Element 5 Order ID.

In some cases, requests have not met two of the above criteria. These requests are still pending, as we are reviewing them on a case-by-case basis.

If you’re not sure you have provided the correct information, or you filled out the form several days ago and have not received a response, you can return to the upgrade request form and re-submit your data.

Here are some answers to common questions:

Q: My e-mail address has changed, and I provided both my old and new e-mail addresses on the form. However, I didn’t provide a correct Order ID number. Is this enough information?
A: No. We cannot send upgrade information to a new address unless we can verify the data in another way.

Q: I purchased/upgraded to ZBrush 1.55b through Digital River. How can I retrieve my Order ID number?
A: The Order ID number can be retrieved by visiting this page and looking up your account. Alternately, you can contact Digital River by phone at 800-656-5426 (US) +1 952-253-8400 (overseas) or by web form.

Q: I purchased ZBrush 1.55b through Element 5. How can I retrieve my Order ID number?
A: The Order ID number can be retrieved by visiting the My Account page. Alternately, you can contact Element 5 by phone at 1-800-406-4966 (North America) or +49-221-31088-30 (overseas).

Q: I purchased/upgraded to an earlier version of ZBrush through a source other than Digital River or Element 5. What information should I submit?
A: Submit as much proof-of-purchase information as possible. Because this information varies greatly from vendor to vendor, it’s difficult to specify which data are significant. Unfortunately, such requests will take longer to process.

Q: Will re-submitting my data delay processing of my original submission?
A: No. If your original submission is verified successfully, re-submitting will not delay its processing.

Q: How long should I wait before re-submitting my data using the online form?
A: Based on current demand, we are responding to valid requests (those which meet the above criteria) within three business days. If your request has met above criteria, but you have not received a response, there may be a number of reasons why. There may have been an error in one of the fields, the e-mail message may have bounced back because of a typo or your e-mailbox is full, or spam-blocking software has filtered out the response from your inbox. Feel free to re-submit your data using the upgrade request form.

Q: I have not received a response in over three days. Should I assume my request has been rejected?
A: We wish to be absolutely certain before rejecting any applicants; this is why we have not yet responded to some requests. We’re examining the submitted data and verifying eligibility carefully, sometimes on a case-by-case basis.
[/list]Thank you for your patience, and for your interest in ZBrush 2.

I resubmited my info. In theory there should be no problem, same name, same email and I think I got the right order number.

Now I’ll just have some fun with version 1.55b and wait patiently.

Thank you Aurick for keeping us informed :+1:

I resubmited as well. My first one was very wrong. I did some digging in my computer and found the last upgrade letter, and was able to include my Digital River order number this time. Now I just hope I got the right “on record” email address.

Same boat here. I must have made a typo on the first try. I hope this one works.

Sorry, I started a thread about upgrade problem before seeing this. I don’t have the same cc required when I first bought ZBrush and I’m not entirely sure that I bought through the 2 options available. My name and email is exactly the same though.

Thanks, Aurick but I am not entirely sure that I bought ZBrush through Digital River. Plus they want details from a credit card that I don’t own any more :frowning: I hope you have my proof of purchase through my email and name details

Hey Diane. I had the same problem but I fortunately found after searching through 2 years worth of reciepts a few old credit card numbers. One of them happened to be the right one. I tried them on the Digital River website and was able to retrieve my invoice. (although it had 3 different order numbers on it, and I used the Upgrade Request Form at http://www2.zbrushcentral.com/zbrush/zbrush2/upgrades/upgrade_request.html 3 separate times for each order number)

i don’t know if that was a dumb thing to do or not
but, im assuming that one of them will work
and i’ll get email instructions soon

So if I submitted again Sat morning and haven’t heard, when do I assume there’s a problem with my account? And what can I do?

Same as MitchVFX, I submitted my info the first time before the release (the 30th I guess), then again on Saturday and still no news.
:frowning:
I used the same email, I guess I can remember my name and I got the order ID from Digital River. What could be the problem?

A large batch is going out today. We’re still working on them, though, so don’t panic yet.

Thanks.

Another day and still no email from pixologic… It seems there is a problem somewhere. What should I do? :frowning: Help me, Aurick Kenobi, you’re my only hope.

Me too. Please help. :frowning:

same here … ;-(

We’re looking into this for you.

Thanks for your patience.

Me to. Is it a Digital River problem do you think?

Digital River has nothing to do with this upgrade (short of providing you with your order number, if applicable).

The more information that you can provide on the form, the more helpful it will be. Be SURE to give us your Digital River order number if you originally purchased through their shopping cart system or if you ever downloaded an upgrade to Z2 (your upgrade went through the DR system, so will have an order number).

Thanks.

OK. I’ve re submitted with a copy of the actual reciept I got from Digital River. I hope that does the trick as I am suffering severe dehydration from all the drooling over the new features I’m seeing in ZB2.
If (as I suspect) you have this all in hand I appologise for hassaling.

Woohoo, I finally got the email! Thank you!

I’m envious, but happy for you  . I’m still waiting :frowning: . I’ve submitted 3 times and sent two emails complete with my order number from Element 5.

The fact that you got it does give me hope

EDIT: I just decided to try the receipt thing as well. Maybe that will help.

I can’t say I’m terribly impressed with this new activation system. The artist concerned is running Windows 2000 with Service Pack 4 and all necessary updates - attempting to activate over the Internet results in an error message that it can’t open a browser.

I try to call the phone number listed on the telephone activation page and the office is closed.

Marvellous!

Regards,

Martyn
