We know that many of you are eager to get your free upgrade to ZBrush 2, and we’re working to process all requests as quickly as possible.
For us to verify your submitted data, it’s important that the data be accurate. For fastest processing, any two of the following criteria are acceptable:
:small_orange_diamond: Your current e-mail address matches the one you provided when you last purchased, or received an upgrade for ZBrush.
:small_orange_diamond: Your name matches the one you provided when you last purchased, or received an upgrade.
:small_orange_diamond: You have provided the correct Digital River or Element 5 Order ID.
In some cases, requests have not met two of the above criteria. These requests are still pending, as we are reviewing them on a case-by-case basis.
If you’re not sure you have provided the correct information, or you filled out the form several days ago and have not received a response, you can return to the upgrade request form and re-submit your data.
Here are some answers to common questions:

Q: My e-mail address has changed, and I provided both my old and new e-mail addresses on the form. However, I didn’t provide a correct Order ID number. Is this enough information?
A: No. We cannot send upgrade information to a new address unless we can verify the data in another way.
Q: I purchased/upgraded to ZBrush 1.55b through Digital River. How can I retrieve my Order ID number?
A: The Order ID number can be retrieved by visiting this page and looking up your account. Alternately, you can contact Digital River by phone at 800-656-5426 (US) +1 952-253-8400 (overseas) or by web form.
Q: I purchased ZBrush 1.55b through Element 5. How can I retrieve my Order ID number?
A: The Order ID number can be retrieved by visiting the My Account page. Alternately, you can contact Element 5 by phone at 1-800-406-4966 (North America) or +49-221-31088-30 (overseas).
Q: I purchased/upgraded to an earlier version of ZBrush through a source other than Digital River or Element 5. What information should I submit?
A: Submit as much proof-of-purchase information as possible. Because this information varies greatly from vendor to vendor, it’s difficult to specify which data are significant. Unfortunately, such requests will take longer to process.
Q: Will re-submitting my data delay processing of my original submission?
A: No. If your original submission is verified successfully, re-submitting will not delay its processing.
Q: How long should I wait before re-submitting my data using the online form?
A: Based on current demand, we are responding to valid requests (those which meet the above criteria) within three business days. If your request has met above criteria, but you have not received a response, there may be a number of reasons why. There may have been an error in one of the fields, the e-mail message may have bounced back because of a typo or your e-mailbox is full, or spam-blocking software has filtered out the response from your inbox. Feel free to re-submit your data using the upgrade request form.
Q: I have not received a response in over three days. Should I assume my request has been rejected?
A: We wish to be absolutely certain before rejecting any applicants; this is why we have not yet responded to some requests. We’re examining the submitted data and verifying eligibility carefully, sometimes on a case-by-case basis.
