Yay my first stars  Thank you silvaticus! Im glad you like it.

Hi there gabo1991, thank you for trying too help!
This problem is the same for all my tools so I dont think thats where the problem is.
I might do something wrong when exporting back and forth. Not sure.
Heres how I do it.

Using 10 Subtools, about 3M polys.

In zbrush (3.5 R3):
using >TPoseMesh to make a pose-mesh then >TPoseMesh again for export (as a single .obj)

In Maya 2010(64bits) :

Import to maya using default import options.
Model is in parts when imported (groups by subtool)

SmoothBind object parts to a rig , Paint skinweights. Pose.

Export all parts as one object (.obj), default export options.

Back to zbrush:
Tested two diffrent approaches here.
First approach: Selecting the TPoseMesh-tool in zbrush , import posed mesh to update model (here the model updates correctly) and then use TPose>SubT to transfer the pose to the main tool.
Second approach: Load the posed .obj file directly on to my main tool using TPose>SubT.

In both these cases, when pressing the TPose>SubT, the first subtool in the maintool recive the change as it should, the details are there
and all but when calculating the next subtool, that subtools explodes, but just little bit, then the next subtool explodes even some more
and so on. So the last subtool is totaly trashed, but the first one looks fine.

I have workarounds for posing all up, but if this function would work life within zbrush would be even easier
Thank you for your time.

Great work! Love the detailing.

Thanks Roganski! I checked out some of your threads, gotta say you’ve got awesome stuff going on!! Good luck with your current project.

Heres another update. On to the next!

Tried another shading on the hair for this one, looks better I think.

Its coming along really nice…:+1:
looking forward for the finished piece…

Amazing work, there’s somthing about cream/white models that I find so appealling. I don’t know what it is, I prefer them over painted models.

Anyway this I like very much so.:+1:

Hello

Could I get one of your tools for a test. Your workflow should work fine but I need your tool to test with. Talk to you later.

Paul

ivar_sn Thank you!
AgentEnigma Yeah I also like the cream white. This is actually the style im going for in the end if it looks okay in a full scene.
gabo1991 Im sorry Paul but I cant give away my tools, can you tell me what you want to try with them?
Ive been exporting objs per subtool instead of exporting everthing together, and then import them back per subtool when they are posed. this works fine, just takes a little longer, but thats okay.

Update time! Doing some progress and the scene is starting to take shape!

Time for another update, almost done with the posing now, the oxes are left and then some minor tweeking here and there is needed. Tried out some color here too.

What do you think?

Awesome scene man! The skin tones could be all types of colours easily. Looks good so far. Can’t wait to see this done!

Yes yes yes… brilliant!! well done

Waiting for the toprow!!5*

Dude this is coming along awesome! once this is coloured it’s top row material for sure!

love the big guy’s expression and the guard’s helmet design and overall detailing!

What’s that? They got a parking ticket???
Awesome!
Lemo

Wow, it looks awsome!
Did you come up with the composition of the image?

This was always one of my favorite Bonner pieces. You are doing it great justice so far, G_Arrow. I have a feeling this will end up being my desktop pic for a while when ya finish it…

Dickie

Wow. this is getting so…impressive…great scene set up so far!
