Good Morning all. I have searched and searched, but found no helpful info for the following issue. I will try to be as detailed as possible, but forgive me if I leave out anything. I am new to the community and still trying to get used to the site, but I would be more than happy to elaborate more if anyone needs more detailed info.
I am using the Intuous 5 Med, and ZBrush 4R3. In previous versions of ZBrush, you could navigate to the zplugin tab and click on “misc”, then assign a new hotkey to the brush size commands by holding ctrl/alt and clicking on the button. This allowed you to set a hotkey for that command. Then, in the Wacom utility, you can assign the touchring to that command, allowing you to set up the ability to just roll your finger around the ring to adjust the brush size. Much like the default settings for PhotoShop!
Apparently, in the 4R3 version, Pixologic has removed this ability within ZBrush. There is no way (that I have found) to reassign a hotkey for the brush size commands. Thus, keeping me from being able to set up the Wacom for that particular command. The only thing that I have found, is the ability to hold a key to allow dragging the cursor, and adjusting brush size that way. But I must say, while this is a BIT more helpful, it still jacks with my workflow. I hope I don’t have to re-learn this part of my workflow, because this would take some getting used to.
If anyone has any information, or can validate my assumption that this ability IS in fact gone from this version of ZBrush, that would be great!
