Looks awesome! Excellent use of zsphere sketching.
Very nice!
The sculpting of the skin gives the right sensation of skin of a bird/chicken and the texture is good too, but the use of ZS2 is really amazing!
The only tip I could tell you is about the beak: the tip of the bottom part should follow the curved form of the upper part, it should point down and not up as you did, but it’s a fantasy character, so it could be!
looking great! specially the head and neck. the humanoid anatomy is pretty accurate too. I just want to make a small suggestion if you don’t mind. the legs could be given the bends and curves the human leg has. attaching an image to show u what i mean. should be easy to do with masking + transpose + move, rotate etc ). ignore this if you are going for the straight legs of a bird such as the stork etc.

Floydshayvious:thanks… glad you like the zsketching…
thedust: thanks for the feedback…still debating weather or not to change the lower beak part… wanted the lower portion to read like teeth more so then beak parts…hmm
moonlitmaverick:thanks…I think you advice will add more of a dynamic feel to character… which i would like…
A M A Z I N G. So awesome looking and inspirational. Where did you learn from?
i like this a lot… has a China Mieville feel to me.
This is amazing!!! I’d love to see the whole project when it is done!!!
I’ve tried to create characters with the Z-Sketch method, but I always end up stopping short because of certain areas that pinch and poke out when I smooth them.
looks nice and creepy i like him
Thanks all for your comments and feedback
. I fixed the legs on the bird will post IMGs when I get the chance.
Here is the latest addition to the Vulture design projects… the Vulture Train Engine… all major design elements sculpted in ZBrush (using shadow box and zspheres 2) with extra parts modeled in Max…
The painting and rendering done in zbrush… with help from photoshop…will post some of the zbrush raw sculpts… when i get a chance
C&C is always cool

Love the Vulture Train! Amazing! I wish I had thought of that.
Great job ! This vulture theme is great, keep it up ! The train looks nice, it might just lacks a bit of specular on some areas, even if it’s rusty and used.
The vulture man si great, especially the right eye. Good job. =)
Great work that’s all I can say.
Keep it up
Wow
Creepy dude so the train style!
I like it
very nice I love the rendering.
its feels a bit strange, like hand panted? or its in the modeleing? Some facets?
raelly cool

haha love the concepts! Vulture man cruising around in his vulture train. Excellent detailing on these models…very unique.
dslavin: thanks… glad you like it
HellGrind: thanks … you are right about the specular.
rjsmal: thanks for the kind words
Daemon3d: awesome! yeah I envisioned this train to be haunted in someway or another.
Sebcesoir: Thanks glad you like the rendering. cool!
The mesh was decimated a little to much and then painted… yeah the facets could of been avoided. The extremely decimated mesh caused me alot of problems…I guess I’ll just call it a concept model…next project the paint and mesh will be cleaner
Here are some WIP shots and the concept sketch. all of model parts made in ZBrush

Love your work!, Did you get that T-shirt btw?
