Hi there, for the past 2 days I’ve been having an issue. I’m trying to load a file of mine (500mb) but with no luck, I get a message saying that the virtual drive is full, no virtual memory and then zbrush crashes. I’ve tried to change the default virual memory drive, which is C in this case and gave zbrush a much larger drive to have as a virtual drive, but with no luck. And last thing I did was try to play with options before loading the file. Memory, do not load history, increase millions of polys etc. Any suggestions? Is there a way to load my file as a tool in order for zbrush to not load every single thing that it saves every single time, such as camera angle, lighting etc? I’ve been working on zb4r4. thnx!
My first recommendation would be to update to version 4R5. Is there a reason you haven’t done so?
Oh ok. Just didn’t have the time and wanted to see if its stable from other users. but if you’re positive that it will help ill try it. Is there another way or you are so certain of it? I mean, is there a way to convert my zbr file to a ztl?
@aurick Updated to 4r5 like you suggested but with no luck i get the same message. Is there another way? Is my pc slow or what? I’m running an i7 2.93, with 12gigs of memory, my c drive has about 18gbs of free space, but even when i change the virtual drive the zbrush uses to a larger one nothing seems to happen. please help I’ve been working on this sculpt for 4 days…
No more hints or something?
