Virtual memory file cant be used

Hi,
Whever i launch zbrush, i get a message,

Note
Out of disk space.
Virtual memory file can’t be used until more disk space is made available.
It is recommended that you save your work and restart Zbrush.

This is a first time i am using zbrush 4.0 in Mac OSX. My friend told me it might be a scratch disk(?) that zbrush is using and i might have to relocate the scratch disk to another drive. In which menu can i change this setting in zbrush 4?

Did anyone had this problem? please share with me

thanks in adavance

This is being caused by permissions and will most likely prevent activation as well.

Open your Applications directory and select (but not open) the ZBrush 4 folder. Press Cmd+I to get info.

At the bottom right corner of the info window, unlock the padlock. You’ll need to enter your admin login.

Now select Everyone in the permissions list. Set the permission level to Read & Write. Then click the gear beneath the list and choose the option to apply to enclosed items.

Lock permissions again and you should be able to launch ZBrush without a problem.

Hi
thanks for the help. Unfortunately, I still get the same message even though i changed the permission. Do you have any other suggestions?

thanks and i really appreciate it
