Virtual Machine

Hey Guys, I’m new here and would really love to try this program out. I was just wondering whether anyone here was working with this program on a VM ?

I bought the Macbook pro leopard a little while ago and bought parallels as well. Have windows XP pro loaded on it. I was just wondering whether the ZBrush program was heavy and required alot of RAM, I have 4G ram loaded on the Mac of which windows uses a small portion, i’m not as yet familiar with the VM, have installed minor programs and PS CS3 on it but nothing heavier than that so I’m a little uncomfortable about messing around with the settings at this stage. I have read the requirements (1 GB RAm and 2 if you’re using (was it multiple meshes ??)

anyway, am babbling here but would love to hear from any VM users. Is it better to wait for the MAC version of this program to come out, would it have the same features as Windows or … ??

Many thanks

don’t run this on VM. Zbrush eats RAM, you will want to allocate as much of it as possible to Zbrush.

The MAC version is out. Zbrush3.12.

It has some added features that that Zbrush 3.1 (PC) doesn’t have.

Hello, thanks very much for the reply :D. When i look for the mac trial, all i can find is the windows trial with ‘mac trial coming soon’
