I’m trying to finalize her as quick as possible. Though right now I’m working on a side project with Nastya and I must finish many other things before calling it done and show here. Stuff like dragon, goats, props, part of the castle, lots of smoke simulations etc.
I hope that you and other people that are still waiting for final pic have enough patience.

Yeah, I believe that feet are tricky for many sculptors and drawers. Most of the time they are hidden inside of shoes and very often they are simply out of frame. Hence the lack of practice in sculpting/drawing them.
In the final render these feet also will not be visible. I did them just for practice because for me sculpting lower leg and feet is challenging too.

For the sharp folds do you use a custom brush or one from the palette?

Thank you! I did the hands earlier about year ago. Only now I decided to reincarnate this project. It is a stylized girl project which you can find here. I don’t use anything special for folds. It is a default Standard brush with lazy step at 0.1 and decreased intensity. Very often I sculpt a fold with ZAdd and then reinforce it with two parallel ZSub strokes. Or with Dam_Standard and then smooth (sometimes changing default smooth to Directional which can be found in Lightbox).

Thanks again for the kind words. Actually, today I was refining this gloves - some wrinkles were a bit lame.
I hope to finish this project in future… kinda hard to do when I can work for only hour or two per day.
Today I feel slightly better. Worked more on gloves and hip area. Navel and genitals still requiring more love. Also I just noticed that her left ASIS should be lower. The torso is elongated as in original drawing.

In my opinion there’s nothing to be shy about genitals. No matter the shape. (; Anyway, great to see you working on these again. ^^
The positioning of the fingers with the gloves is just simply amazing. A sexy gesture.
I should also be posting something soon, it’s been too long. It’s just that I’m too reluctant to post WIPs where I can clearly see room for improvement. But, SOON. I’m also like you that I’m always looking for a “perfect” anatomy before even thinking about clothing. Even if the clothing would cover 70-80% of the body.
I have watched a lot of 2D and 3D art with naked girls including adult images. And it is quite disappointing to see that in most cases female genitals are represented with stereotypical slit where inner structure is absolutely rudimentary. I can partially understand this in 3D world where this might be dictated by some technical restrictions but hell… After the face, female genitals is the part of the body with most variations possible and still many artists do the same type dictated by fashion and hentai. I wouldn’t write this cause that’s not my business but sometimes I encounter situations where people see something different (like in this case with developed clitoris and inner labias) and start saying like “Oh man, what’s happened to her, why it looks so strange?..”. This is funny and sad at the same time.
Male genitals is another story. Really tired to see sculpted guys with anatomy of Ken-doll. People think it is OK to chop off someone’s pen1s. For me it like presenting portrait of person without a nose. If you do a naked body than sculpt everything or if you are so modest then add some underpants.
Thank you. But all the fame goes to Shirow Masamune. This sculpt is heavily based on his drawing. The pose, proportions, face and hands are coming from original image. Though I still have a lot of artistic freedom. The legs, stockings and entire back is from imagination. Plus I’m not entirely happy with anatomy in drawing so I’m doing my own version.
Yeah, don’t rush. I remember posting some very draft sculpts in this sketchbook and now I can only wish to withdraw them back. Lol, but cruel ZBC doesn’t allow to delete old posts. And yep, I also cannot move forward when I know that part of my model isn’t finished yet. Even if it is covered with clothings.

You’re probably one of the very few artists who speaks with the right anatomical terms with deep analysis (and I love it) instead of common “this shape/muscle here” and “that crease there” without naming anything in particular, and that’s kinda blunt to watch such anatomy “lectures”, for example.
By the way, I’m working on both male and female characters simultaneously, so it’s taking double time to post any WIPs, yet. It’s somewhat low poly, because I’m still on the sub-d 3. I’m always taking my sweet ass time in each subdivision level to get most out of them, and also avoiding smoothing problems in higher levels. So much to fix here and there.
