Violator

Hey everyone,

First time user of Zcentral, and newcomer to zbrush itself. I am currently taking a class in Advanced Modelling and Texturing, and was told to post my WIP up here. I am open to any C&C.

The main idea for this project was violator from Spawn meets Venom from spiderman. I wanted to make this demon like creature completely wrapped in some sort of viscuss material. I also wanted to capture the idea of bones jutting out of anywhere I could (and not look out of place).

This current export is about 30 mins into laying out the form and musculature.

for now, I’d say you could use more distinctive creasing in these areas:

This is actually week 2. I retopologized the model, brought it into maya, and put some hands on it. Brought it back into zbrush and worked on the head, and redoing some of the musculature around the serratus anterior. Also, I began work on the bones out of the back. Other than that, not much done since I haven’t been feeling like doing anything aside from my demo reel material. Anyway, I will be posting more this weekend, so look out.

the definintion on the nose is where it’s at! love that sharp line, and I think that line quality needs to be transferred to other areas, like the brow ridge and espeically the lips.
