Viking

Hi this been quite awhile since a didnt post anything here. but Im back to zbrush finally. This is my new project that Ive started. Im doing a viking. Here is the first step. The base mesh is done in max and I work the proportion in zbrush. I will try to update here as Im going along in zbrush. Many crits are welcome.

Hi! Ive worked yesterday on the upper half. Here some render.Today Ill begin the lower half, the hand and to bring his armor stuff. The facial hair are different subtool, Im not totally satisfy about it. Ill have to take care of them much more too. C&C!:smiley:

Hi some update about my viking. In fact I have all the body done and somehow textured but Im not satisfied at all with it. I want to give it more accurate anatomy.

Ive worke also on all subtool. Now Im reworking the body and I think Im gonna use the retopology tool for the first time. Does someone know if I gonna loose the already mappep uv of the model?

If retopology works well with my crappy computer I will retopologize also the other subtools. Ive tried decimation master but I dont like at all the mesh that is resulting. I want to optimize the character so my computer don’t jam and that I could tempt a mental ray render.:lol:

Hi! I work on the torso a lot yesterday. However am not to sur about the abs and the seratus muscle. Today I will start to work more on the hand. I hate doing the hand but I really want to improve. Comments 7 crits are welcome as usual.

ps: It is the same character I only forget to show the facial hair

I work a lot on the lower torso and on the hand altough there not so beautiful but Ive figured out that I will have to rework on them because Im planning to make him hold a shield and an axe. Hope to have some comments n crits so I can work a little on it and improve it before starting the retopology and the posing. thanks!:wink:

This is what I end up with my viking project. It took me a fair amount of time. My computer is too crappy so it was a real pain in the *%?& just to achieve that. It is kinda sad because as you already seen I got all the body done… But when I try to put all of his gear and zbrush get jammed… Maybe I post a medium shot of the torso wich is not to bad. But Im so tired of this project.

I modeled the basemesh in 3dsmax and do the sculpting in zbruh and I use photoshop for composition.

A vision of what I would have like to see in a more dejanted and hardcore version of Alice in wonderland. Ive modele in Zbrush with the help of zsphere. I rendered it in zbrush and composite it in photoshop. The texture is polypainting.:smiley:

this is my latest project. i finally decided to do a woman. don’t know yet how she will turn… Undressed or dressed neither wich concept it will be. Anyways crits and comment are welcome as usual.:wink:
