I’m thrilled to share with you my latest project, based on the amazing concept art by @michaelrelth !
This is a very special one for me: I actually started adapting this character design 10 years ago. Even though I put it on hold, it was always at the back of my mind. Coming back to it now felt like the perfect opportunity to push myself further with up-to-date tools.
For this project, I wanted to explore two different pipelines: rendering using Maya & Arnold and real-time in Unreal Engine. Achieving visual consistency in Unreal Engine was a real challenge.
