quite new to zbrush and trying to produce something from start to finish, that is from concept to max high quality render, Have followed loads of tutorials and got stuck here and there but found solutions. I find this is the best way to learn. I am currently at the point when i want to view the model in max 2011 and read up on goz ( great tool) the one thing that is bugging me is that me displacement maps are very dark, seem to have hardly any gradation from black to white, and nothing like other displacement maps ive seen, tried all the basic stuff, have played with the mid point etc, but am stuck, oh and it doesnt work correctly in max.
One other thing with goz, do the units in max have any bearing on the model when its exported or does goz read the units and adjusts accordingly
