Very Basic--Texture not applying

You know how, when you’ve loaded a model, put it in editmode, and clicked on a texture image, it’s supposed to wrap onto your object? I can’t get ZBrush to do that for me.

I’m sure there’s got to be a setting I’m missing–polypaint texturing works fine, as does Spotlight, everything but the old standard plop-a-texture-on method. Anybody got a clue on this?

Tool / Texture Map palette. This allows you to have different texture for each subtool.

AH! Thanks!–I was trying to load the texture from the Texture stuff on the left side of the screen, not the tool subset. It’s been so long since I wanted to just drop a photo on an object that I hadn’t realized the workflow had changed. There’s also so many tutorials out there that still have the old way of doing things…but that’s another story.
