Hi, is it possible to apply a transparent material to one part of a subtool and apply another material and have it be opaque? There seems to be no way to control transparency amount on a vertex level, only a subtool level.
Material transparency is a legacy feature that doesn’t work so well with BPR and models in Edit mode. For these you need to use Render Transparency which, as you have observed, is per subtool. However, you can modulate the transparency effect by using the different options in the BPR Transparency sub-palette.
