Version 3.1 vs 4r6

I found Sculptris (Alpha 6) really straight forward and got great results, but I’m finding the leap to Zbrush not so rewarding (so far) and I am hoping, because there have been a great deal of improvements to the current version, things will get easier and more rewarding!
I know this is a subjective question, but based on sculpting: Is Zbrush 4r6 much easier to use in terms of flexibly, artistic control & getting the results you want, than version 3.1 ?

Yup. Dynamesh and Zremesher have changed the way most of us work.

I like 3.1 . Noise, if done right, doesn’t blow out \ in the surface . Many paint brushes work more surface aware when you use embed tricks. Much more convenient for texture painting. And it works a lot more stable and less crashy in general.

I prefer 3.1 to be honest .

I can’t see me going without the extras that ZBrush 4 onwards has, such as Dynamesh, ZRemesher, GoZ etc. We probably have it so good now that anything less is like working with stone age tools.
