Been working on this on and off for months when time permitted. This is Venger from the 80’s cartoon Dungeons and Dragons. The sculpt depicts Venger from the episode “The Dragon’s Graveyard” when the kids get tired of Venger keeping them from returning to their home world. They traveled to the Dragon’s Graveyard where they use the gold horn to summon the Dragon Tiamat to ask for help vanquishing Venger. Tiamat magically transports Venger to the graveyard where the battle ensues.
The sculpting was done in ZBrush then brought into Modo to add some minor procedural texturing for a more realistic look for rendering.
