This is the second sculpted version of my main character, Katie Avril. The sweatshirt design is a big change from just a solid color. It’s based a bit on the Spider Gwen outfit, made into a sweatshirt. This is rendered in Keyshot, but the video shots will be in Maya with Mental Ray. One of the things I want to show, but just don’t have the time to tweak with keyshot is to make the incandescence layer on the sweatshirt, to make a grid or webbing that glows. I just baked it into the texture for this render for now.
Need to get back to researching wrinkles in hooded sweatshirts and add that as a layer. The hood is actually using a subtool layer, by default its over her head for ease of poly painting and UV Mapping.
Edit: Note to other users, don’t save Keyshot in PNG format with no background and transparencies on. The preview looks more like a corrupted file.
