Hi All,
I´m pretty new here as well as in ZBrush. But I´ve made this Gothic tower as a test just to see how it translates into Maya.
Only problem is - there aren´t that many tutorials on Vector Displacement Mapping in Maya out there.
So if any of you guys would bother to post a short and conscise step-by-step guide to how those maps are imported and applied to a piece of Geometry in MAYA - I would be very grateful.
( I´ve noticed the Vector Displacement slot in the Displacement shader - but I have no idea how to “Bind” that shader to a material, since there are no visible displacement slots in the actual material shader ( Blinn, Phong or the like ).
