VBV sketchbook

Thanks Nagulov. I agree about the stomach. I fixed I think.
I know what you mean about the quality. I was quite rusty so I had to get in shape with this one.

Very nice progress of teh sculpt. You really put it on a very high level

Thanks Nebular. Will keep updating the whole scene.

hey vlad!

great updates here.
small crit… i think the neck veins a bit to dominant. this would fit somebody doing some heavy lifting better. but it does give a nice “fleshyness”, so maybe just tone it down a little.
-just an idea.

Thanks for the advice Rasmus . You are right. I will make them less prominent.

Hi guys
This another sculpt I am doing for my little project - no symmetry used. He is part of a small scene. I have basically only blocked the main landmarks and muscles. It is still an early wip - I need to fix and add a lot of anatomical details etc…
C&C welcome.

A close up. Did some more work on the head:

Really great anatomy… did you use mannequin as base mesh ?

Very good!

Thanks guys.
Blackmask98 - I used zspheres to create the base then posed it and started sculpting.

Here is another update. Still quite a lot to do.

Rough scene setup. The guy on the hill will have some sort of clothes:

I like the wiry anatomy on the crouching guy. His face is really interesting, too.

What brushes do you use?

Thanks Nagulov. The brushes I use are the usual ones - Standard(somethimes with the Accucurve on when needed), Dam_Standart, Clay, Inflat, hPolish, Polish, Pinch, Move, Move_Topological. Nothing special really.

Great work man. A really interesting characters. I like how it’s moving forward

Thanks Nebular.

Did most of the small details. Only the hands, feet, some more wrinkles and veins are left to be done:
