Various subtools with a single uv

I can have a single uv with various subtools?
Because i have various parts of my modeling, and is generated one texture for each part, but i want to have a single texture for all subtools… :frowning:

where did you unwrapped the model?

You’ll have to merge the maps in a 2D app such as Photoshop.

NoobVee - i used UVmaster.

for example, in 3dsmax i can apply the Unwrap modifier in each object as an instance, and in editor i can pack all using “Pack Uvs”, however after that i keep having separate objects.

Thanks, i did not know about the tool Mrg in export rollout, but his has not worked in a subtool, in other worked. It is exactly what you said,green lines in every faces.:o

hmm. that’s weird it always works for me even I have multiple subtools. can you give more info on what are you doing?

I just wanted to export to the max without giving the “error”, but if not I still have trouble doing so. :slight_smile: It would be nice to know because this happens.
