Vampire - Digital Sculpture by Surajit Sen

Vampire - Digital Sculpture
In this digital sculpture, I sought not merely to portray a vampire, but to manifest the exhausted psychology of immortality itself ,a face eroded by centuries of isolation, hunger, silence, and the slow corrosion of humanity. The pallid flesh, hollowed anatomy, and spectral gaze were intentionally composed to evoke dread through restraint rather than theatrical excess.
My sculptural language consistently gravitates towards anatomical imperfection, tactile realism, and emotional decay; I am profoundly drawn to faces that appear burdened by memory, suffering, and existential fatigue. Every wrinkle, asymmetry, pore, and fractured surface becomes a narrative device through which I attempt to expose the invisible architecture of fear and melancholy.
For me, horror is never simply a monstrous appearance, it is psychological residue. This “Vampire” embodies the unsettling intersection between death and endurance, where the creature no longer terrifies through violence alone, but through the unbearable loneliness embedded within its immortal existence.
