uvs are changing?

i made my uvs in max, exported them, made my uv check (with max texporter and in zbrush), even made test displacement maps with subd level 7 with a resolution of 2048 x 2048>> erverything worked fine.
but after several hours of work, zbrush showed me overlaps on the uv check texture and crashed everytime with dmaps over 1024 px.
i switched to my mt and remade my uvs with guv tiles, but making my clean max uvs, was nothing but wasting a lot of time .

zbrush is a great tool, but it is getting more and more annoying, cause it makes u spend half of your working time handling with export/import, uv and crashing problems.:confused:

ZBrush doesn’t change UV’s that are assigned to the model, so I don’t know what might be causing this to happen. When you calculated the map, were you using Adaptive or DPSubPix mode?

i’m always using adaptive mode. strange thing is, that on the current subd level, there are no overlaps, just on the lower levels or the mt now.

What steps are you following to assign the UV’s? Are you creating a blank texture of the size that you will output your displacement map at and then pressing AUVTiles? Or are you just pressing AUVTiles?

i choose guv tiles and just hit the button, with no assigned texture. only a simple fast shader on the model.
