UVMaster- my painted mesh exports to 3dsMax with no color. What am I missing?

Hi just like I posted in the title;

I thought I had a handle on UVMaster but it appears not. I have an extremely basic mesh I have created inside of Max, then I goZ it into Zbrush to add a little more detail and paint. The model is painted, and I was able to go through some steps with UVMaster and saved it as an .obj

When I imported it into MAx, it just shows up as grey. Can anyone offer me any guidance? Thanks

Did you convert the model’s Polypaint into a Texture Map based on the UVs you have assigned, export that Texture, and then apply it to the object in the external program?

When you bring the obj into Max, you need to assign the texture to it in the Material editor. That assumes you saved a texture out of ZBrush, as Scott explained.
