UV'ing question

Hi there,
Is it possible to to poly paint three subtools, create UV’s for each separate subtool then merge the mesh into one tool but keep the individual UV areas?

Basically I have a complex model and I want to keep shading domains so that when I go into C4D I can easily assign a material to an area of the model without having to select the face and build a whole new shading domain.
