UV Weird FLIP at import

Hi,

When I import new UVs from maya to Zbrush, I get this weird flip in the UVs. It’s not a simple vertical flip of the whole UVs. Each single polygons get flipped individually in the UVs.

Here’s a picture. This has happened to me before but I don’t remember what I did to fix it…

Any help?

Hi,

I found out how to fix it.

First off, I forgot to mention that I UVed in maya but also did some tweaks in 3ds max. I then exported from 3dsmax to maya to zbrush. That’s where I got the problem.

The solution was to get the UVs from 3ds max and use “Transfer attributes” to transfer the UVs to the original mesh in maya.

try tool.UV map.cycle UV

might need 1 or 2 clicks depending on the flip.
