Is this model from Alex Alvarez at Gnomon ?
He work with ZBrush and Maya in his last DVD and look very similar!!
Probably you can find the answer in that DVD or from you get this model.

It’s a bloody good likeness…
Heya Zap, I love this model… The lines you are seeing are made when you paint in Z-Brush. You can get rid of them with a push of a button.
Under the tool>Texure menu there is a fix image seam button. Press that and it removes the lines. Here is an image of where it is:

Have fun!

- Have you tried the Tool>Texture>Fix Seams option?
- Have you made sure to turn off texture Anti-Aliasing and MIP-mapping? These affect how a texture is rendered, and can make the UV edges visible.
- Have you tried the Tool>Texture>AdjU and AdjV options? These can be used to offset the texture very slightly, which with some rendering engines will resolve seams. Once you know the correct settings for your engine, they can be applied to every texture you create.
One more note: The Q&T forum was the appropriate one for this subject, and we have had to merge your thread from the main forum into this one.

Thanks.
