UV question (Intermediate)

I’ve modeled a character in Maya. Laid out UVs in Headus UVlayout…
Into Zbrush, I forgot to do a UV Check, and completely sculpted and
painting my character to my likings…

I missed a little finger in UVlayout… Now, I see a redspot in my UV Check…
HOW DO I FIX this small UV area without having to resculpt and paint
everything…? Doing an auto UV in Zbrush will require me to repaint, and
I’m trying to get out of that too…

Thanks in advance!

Fix the model’s mapping and export it again with exactly the same settings as before. It’s important that the point order not be changed.

Go to level 1 of the ZBrush mesh. Store a morph target, then import the new version of the model. This will update the UV’s. Now switch back to the stored morph target and return to the higher levels to continue your work.
