UV Master

I am having a little bit of difficulty with the unwrapping of a model. I have created seams in 3DS Max and imported the obj into Zbrush. When I try to unwrap the model using symmetry/Use existing UV seams, I get an error that tells me I have closed shells. What are closed shells???

you didn’t really unwrapped the model from max. you just marked it. maybe you can use LSCM Unwrap from scriptspot to temporary unwrap your model and use UVMaster to automatically re-unwrap and rearrange for you.

I realized that this morning when I got up. I marked the seams but forgot to unwrap them. Thank you for your response. I felt like an idiot, for about a minute. I’m over it now. Thanks again.
