UV Master Vertex Problem

Hi Guys;

I have been playing with this awasome tool for last two days. It needs nothing but a single clicking and painting on the surface to get %95 correct uv layouts. That is correct. But I got a problem when I exported my mesh as .obj and imported it into 3dsMax.

Vertices on UV layout were saperated from each other though they look like one solid uv mesh.

I know that we can weld them. But why? What if I have a mesh which has approxamately 20.000 faces on it.

How can I solve that problem?

If you can help me, then there will be nothing to worry about.

in max select every Vert in the UVs then weld them with a very small threshold - i.e. .001

that will reconnect your meshes.
Max also has a wonky importer for obj files.

have you checked the UV’s in another program to see if they are getting broken in Zbrush or MAX?
