UV Master resizes model ? Why?

When I import an obj into brush, then use UV master to lay out my UV’s, it shrinks my model down…

Any idea why? This is not good as the size of my model need to be an exact size.

Thanks for the reply. Ya i do that ( work on clone ) and still it shrinks down the model?

so you’re saying that when the UVs get pasted the original model shrinks down to the size of the clone?

if the clone gets smaller after unwrap, clicking unify from the deformation palette should scale it back up to same size as the visible original.
then you can copy and paste or just use the clone.

Thank you for the message. Clicking " unify " scales the model to fit in the preview window. So it also changed the size of the model. I do find this very odd that UV master scales the model. And oddly enough i found out that it scales the model by 1 decimal place. So if i have an model ( say a ring ) that is 22 x 22 x 5, It will scale it to 2 x 2 x .05

weird. i never noticed. so if i have 3 subtools and unwrap one, all 3 meshes will silently scale in size?

Im not sure about the subtools. I didnt have any subtools other than the ring. But yes. Very odd and disturbing.
