I’m trying to UV my mesh, separating it by polygroups. The head is its own polygroup, with a mouthbag inside which is also its own polygroup. With the polygroup option on, uv master is NOT obeying the protect control painting that I have put on the face. It keeps cutting a seam into the mouth. If I separate the head into it’s own mesh and uv it, it works just as expected. But the polygroup head and the separated head are the exact same geometry, so why would it function differently?
Solved it. I just cleaned up the edge flow of the neck where the seam and polygroup cut would be.
