UV Master Issue!

Hey All,

I am having an issue generating UV’s for my model. I am using the UV Master and when I try to control paint the model some areas won’t accept the paint. I first thought that it may be a normals issue but the normals seem to be correct. Below I have attached an image (I painted the entire model to show the issue I am running into, note the white areas). Does anyone have any ideas?

uv master is more of a…suggestion.

Where are your seams? Are you using polygroups, etc.

The seams aren’t created yet but I plan to place them at the back of the head. The most important part is the oral cavity (I am creating a model for an oral surgery illustration that I am working on). Im not sure how to divide the oral cavity up so the seems don’t show.

If you’re painting in 3D you shouldn’t have any seams anyway.

I need to create a UV map so that I can import the displacement map and normals map into C4D. Unfortunately I am having trouble creating the UV map. I figured that I needed to create seems in order for the UV’s to be oriented properly…
