UV Master and Normal Map problem [solved]

Hello,

I noticed some strange thing using ZBrush and wanna here from you.

I mainly use Zbrush to detail the low poly obj so,

I import the obj
UV it using UV Master
Store Morph
Sculpt
Restore Morph and Generate Normal map

Works perfectly fine.

But when

I import the obj
Store Morph
Sculpt
Restore Morph and UV it using UV Master
Generate Normal map

Fail. Complete mess.

So, if you did not UV it before sculpting, there’s no hope? I find this a bit ridiculous.

Okay, anyone can try below and confirm the problem?

  1. Import object.
  2. Store Morph
  3. Subdivide couple of times (and take a screenshot)
  4. Back to subd level 1 and switch to the morph target
  5. Create UV
  6. Switch Morph
  7. Go to highest subd level (and take a screenshot)

Compare the two screenshots. The mesh is altered.
This makes me think UV after subdividing is not valid.
Or is this some kind of a bug?

I’m using 4R2b.
