Uv Help!

Hey everyone i would really appreciate it if some one can help me out with UVs in Zbrush. I made a creature and UVed it in Maya and put it into zbrush but after i sculpted it and put it back into maya i realized i messed up on the UVs, some are over lapin so i fixed them on the OBJ file now how can i get the new Uvs on the same sculpture in Zbrush? i really dont want to resculpt everything since my final is due next week on tuesday…

Go to whatever subdivision level that your obj is, probably your lowest subdivision. Click MorphTarget>StoreMT. This will store your current model in it’s exact current state. Then just import your .obj with the fixed UVs. This will make you see why you first stored a morph target. When you import the new uvs’ it will potentially alter the shape of your base level mesh if the obj or base has been slightly altered. Then simply click MorphTarget>switch.

If your base in zbrush and your obj are geometrically identical then I think you can forego the morphtarget step.

I have only done this a few times so I hope I’m remembering this method correctly. Good luck.
