Hey gang,
Something that has been happening to me alot in ZB4 is frustrating as crap. I generally model low poly objects and unwrap them in max first then import to ZB and sculpt etc and things are fine (UVW are intact, NM generate correctly) For the body of the character i use a morph taget, rig the body and objects in max to a biped for posing and then export new obj’s of the posed stuff and import to ZB4 but when i do this the uvw coordinates flip every other face and i get a messege in zb that says “mismatched point order found and auto corrected” and now my uvw’s are jacked up.
Does anyone else have this problem?
usually if i export the low poly object from zb with the messed up uvws, import it to max and then export it out again, import it to zb and it is fixed…but i didnt do anything to it to fix the uvws.
