UV and Zmapper problem

Hey, I am using Zbrush 3.1. I have created a mesh in Blender and later exported it to Zbrush already with UV. Then I sculpted it using HD Geometry (after using the normal one as well) and now I wanted to generate normal map but I got stuck with it. First of all it doesnt create corectly UV Grups:

This is my UV:

And here is the resoult of pressing the UV Group:

Plz help me!!

Uv Groups only works if the UV’s are in separate spaces. For example, the head filling the 0,0 to 1,1 space and the body filling the 1,0 to 2,1 space. If all the UV’s are actually in the same space, then Uv Groups will assign everything to the same polygroup like you show, and ZBrush will generate a single map.

Hey aurick, thank you for fast reply. Now I have another question. Why I get this strange Normal Map using Zmapper and some decent looking one generated with build in option? Is there something I am doing wrong? Is it because of HD geometry?

Thanks in advance

Does anyone has experienced similar issue?

Let me guess: You’re hiding the parts of the model that belong to a different UV space.

In ZBrush 3, you must split each UV space into a separate subtool. Simply hiding the polys won’t work.
