Decided to make some HARD SURFACE, fully in zbrush, as a highpoly for UE ingame model. That was entertaining
Initially, wanted to test some HARD SURFACE zbrush pipelines. Also, wanted to try some AI to generate a concept for utility robot, but that was a fiasco. Then, wanted to find somebody’s concept, but couldn’t find anything that would make me happy. Eventually, I had to go trough a painful path of designing it by myself, taking into account that its meant to be used with UE4 skeleton and standard animations, with all its constraints, that really affected the overall look, and particularly joints.
Also, this guy has some parts customization, like detachable backpack and the protection bars!
