Hi all,
I`m trying to use some alphas with my smooth brush to give the same feel of turpenoid being brushed over clay.
It works pretty well if using the brush itself, but if i use the smooth through shift (as i would do 99% of the time), the only setting it keeps is the intensity. No alphas.
Is there any way of changing this?

As far as I know, the Shift option doesn’t recall the Alpha. I don’t know if this is by design or an issue for the development team to look at.
What you can do is place the Smooth and whatever your usual brush is onto the Shelf. Then you can easily switch between them by clicking their Shelf icons rather than going in through the Brush palette.
