I am new to zbrush and I am trying to put together a model using some photo references. I’d like to have the image projected behind the model I’m working on. Is there a way to enable an image file to be displayed in the background? Thanks.
Yes, you can use Reference Image or Image Plane, depending on how you prefer to work. Reference Image comes with ZBrush, Image Plane you’ll need to download.

I’m using a Mac. Is Reference Image part of the Mac program? I don’t see it in plug-ins. I have to say that I’m getting pretty sick of learning this program and discovering all of the features that are missing from the Mac version.
