Using one subtool, to cut into another

I have a finished mesh that is a figure. I have it in lots of subtools, as per if it was going to be 3d printed after exporting in STL, in one piece. this means that the subtools over lap so to speak. What I want however, is for the head to be printed as a seperate piece, that will insert into the body section. My thinkins is that if I sculpt the neck, it can go into a neck shape hole in the body. Is there a way to use the neck to create a whole (recess) the right shape?

If you’re using 3.5R3 you can use the Boolean fetures in the SubTool palette. See the New Features PDF included in the ZBrush folder.

I’m guessing that that’s that options within the ‘remesh’ tool. I’m struggling to get to grips with this to be honest, and it says that it should be used for base meshes.

Can anyone explain to me how I would use these options to cuta neck shaped hole in my body? Please?

I have the same question as Gordon Robb. What tool do you use to Create a Negative Cavity from an sub tools so it fits into the negative space of another sub tool? I have ZB-4. They say I can add and subtract in Remesh to form shapes similar to boolean shapes but I can’t figure it out. Feeling pretty stupid right now. Any help?? Thanks.
