I don’t get it. I’m in edit mode, I click the “M+” button in the marker menu… nothing… “show” is selected. where’s this small square icon?! http://www.pixologic.com/docs/index.php/Marker_Palette ???

Markers are placed at the center of your object. However, you will not see them until you move the pointer close to the marker location.
How close you must be is determined by the Preferences>Marker>Marker Radius setting. By default, you must come within 64 pixols of the marker’s position, but you can raise the value as high as 1000 pixols.
