After seeing the latest 3.5 features, it seems like you can do a whole lot with just the new zshpere skeleton and muscles without having to use adaptive skin. I think it is now possible to make a figure/creature that can be posed at anytime as long as you don’t “skin” the zspheres. What do you guys think?
the “finished” zsphere mesh still seems rather primitive compared to a “skinned” version. So I will say no…unless of course a skinned mesh remembers and holds a link to the zpheres that it was created from…
so you zsphere model it…skin it, finish it, then go back to the zphere model to pose it…
probably not the way things work, but it would be nice…ehh, we’ll see tomorrow I suppose.
You could use it to create a single figure model that can be easily manipulated for different types of skinned figure models. This way you don’t have to keep building a new zsphere skeleton from the ground up everytime.
