Using Boolean add-on/plug-in for 3D print slots

I make models to be 3D printed and I gotta tell you that the new boolean feature is WAY better for making matching shaped tabs and slots for multiple piece 3D prints than using dynamesh negatives to get matches (and it doesn’t mess up the fine details like dynamesh does). But I’d like to suggest or ask if there is a plug-in to maybe automate making the negative part in the hole slightly bigger than the original tab. Like I can make tabs on a figurine foot and make a duplicate of them and increase the size a little bit and use that as the negative for a figurine base. But since I have to do this a lot it gets kind of tedious. If some skilled programmer out there has made a way to just add a few sizes to a negative when making a negative boolean that would just be so awesome and a major time saver (and also help to prevent tabs from not fitting in holes because of accidental moving during resizing or not making the hole quite big enough for the tab and not realizing the error until after it’s printed. >_< )
