Using a Mannequin to Rig/Move a Mesh

This might be a silly question I’m still a bit new to Zbrush. I created a mesh based off a mannequin and wanted to use it to pose my sculpted model. Is it possible to use the mannequin as a rig to pose the model.
I have found the zsphere rigging option but it does not seem to function when I try to bind the mannequin to my mesh.

Any help would be great as it seem like an easy way to pose my character if I could get it to work!

Yes, I think that mannequins won’t work directly but you can use the zsphere structure like this:

  1. Select the ZSphere tool, and in the Tool>Rigging menu click Select Mesh and select the mesh you want to rig.
  2. Switch to the original mannequin, open up the Transpose Master menu in the Zplugin palette and click StoreTM Rig. This stores a copy of the zsphere structure.
  3. Switch back to the ZSphere you set up at (1) and press the Transpose Master>PasteTM Rig button. This should transfer the zsphere structure and you will be able to bind and pose your model.
