User materials will not load from startup (answered)

I put a few new materials in my startup folder, materials.
When I start zbrush, when I select the material icon none of my materials are showing up in a ‘user materials’ row.

In the past I would - delete and insert all the materials I liked in the zdata/materials folder. That way the materials I prefer would load up at start. But I know that I should not modify the zdata folders, and so I want to do this the right way.

But again, I would like a nice list of my prefered materials in the ‘user materials’ row (when I select the material icon).

Thanks

Which version of ZBrush are you using? For Mac 3.12, MatCap materials saved to ZStartup/Materials will appear in the ‘Startup MatCap Materials’ section, standard materials will be in the ‘Startup Standard Materials’.

I am using zbrush version 3.12.
There is a ‘User Materials’ section on top (this appeared when I set a different default material/startup document).

I thought this would be simple - in that I could establish four favorite materials that could be placed in the ‘User Materials’ row. Rather than looking for my favorites in the collection of twenty materials in the ‘Startup MacCap Materials’ section.

After further thought, I am probably rare. What I mean is a sculpt daily and I do not paint/use materials. If I was to paint and use materials daily I am sure I would want to see all the options you (Pixologic) have listed.

Thanks
