use existing normal maps on new model

hello all, I need a little help, let me know if it possible use an existing normal map, to apply on another model and then tweak and modify, eg i have a sphere previously sculpted and I want to apply that normal map to another sphere and then edit the applied normal, in this way would save me time and would only need to correct sculpted details…so this is my question.
sorry my english and a lot of thanks

Using one normal map on two spheres isn’t a big deal, just make sure the UVs for both spheres are the same. My understanding is that it’s possible to edit UVs…like in Photoshop, but it’s tedious and you have to jump through some hoops.

Thanks for the reply dustinbrown, but what I try to do is add a normal map of another model in a similar one and finishing touches, but not in photoshop, i mean, sculpting that normal map in zbrush…
